Now here's an optimistic thought... ...recovery. 
2005 Riesling, Semidry .375ml $10.00 SORRY! SOLD OUT.I have a problem saying no. So don't take advantage of me please. But sometimes it works out. When I saw this neglected vineyard it looked silver - as if dusted with a powdery plume of death. Of course I had to say, "Yes! It's not dead yet. Merely a flesh wound. We might be able to bring it back to health." Genius. I mean these poor vines looked like they had been stored in an attic for the last decade. However, sometimes it works out. This wine is the first example that optimism and lots of sweat can turn things around. We pruned, we watered, we thinned. We were patient and surprisingly, it really wasn't dead yet. In 2005 we ripened 1 ton of sweetly, shriveled berries and made this optimistic wine. The winter weather helped halt the fermentation at 2%. The wine shows exceptional balance and texture. We only bottled 40 cases of these half bottles (the 750ml bottles are all sold out). If you can find this wine, buy it. If you can't, we have about 3 cases left to sell.
