The Wurlitzer is singing...
...the juke joint is jumpin'!

WurliTzer used to call their jukebox, "America's favorite nickle's worth of fun!" and it still holds true.

This very machine was the backdrop to many left footed memories. Bryan's dad, Norm, got this "1015" from a college friend's mother making him the third owner. Norm stuck $40 in her couch cushions because she refused payment up front.

The Ulbrichs throw great parties and their jukebox was always lighting up the room. Norm and Bryan worked on it periodically but never got it up to speed (78 RPM that is). Instead of letting the lawyer give it away via the reading of a Will, Norm gave it to Bryan this past Christmas so that both may enjoy its unique sound once again. Bryan is faithfully restoring this 1946 Wurlitzer 1015 Jukebox (aka The Bubbler). After 8 weeks of rebuilding the mechanics and amplifier, it is playing and sounding great. Its warm glow will welcome you into the Tasting Room and the warm tunes from the 1940s will keep you sippin' and dancin'.

We are amassing a very interesting collection of 78 RPM records and will feature them throughout the year. Nothing goes better with our wine and cider than a classic, slightly scratchy tune off the the old juke. Stop in and play your favorite.

We may not be the only winery in the world with a Jukebox. And we may not be the only winery to have a sandbox. But, we can definitively say that we are the only winery to have both. Oh...and we are in an Asylum! Do you want another reason to come here?

...The wine.
