Medals for our meddling...


Below is a listing of recent awards granted to LFC wines by various judgings. Sometimes they are referred to as competitions but in reality the wines are scored on their own merit. It's sort of like the wine against the course - not winery against winery.

Typically a Gold Medal indicates that the judges thought the wine was exceptional in all facets. A Silver Medal signifies that the judges felt the wine was varietally pure, balanced, and had an extra set of qualities that made it stand out as more interesting. A Bronze Medal is awarded when they think the wine is varietally correct, balanced, and deserves to be recognized as a signature of the variety or style.
