 2008 Pinot Blanc - Best Dry White Its the third time for this vineyard. 
We have learned that our 2008 Pinot Blanc - Island View Vineyard was awarded the trophy for Best Dry White Wine at the Michigan Wine and Spirits Competition in East Lansing. This is the third time in 10 years that the Pinot Blanc has earned this title and it's Bryan's 10th year in a row to earn a top trophy.In addition, the 2008 Murmur received a double gold which means that two independent panels of Judges (8 total) gave it a unanimous gold. We are also proud of Gill's Pier for getting the Best Red with their 2007 Cabernet Franc/Merlot. We have had a long relationship with them and are pleased to deliver such great results with their excellent fruit. We went down with grower Werner Kuehnis to recieve the trophy and taste a few wines. O.k. we drank them too! Check out the photo gallery for more pictures from the event. |
