Derby hats and sneakers.... ....run for the Roses 
What: A fun foot race to raise money for some needy horses in our area.When: Saturday, May 1st from 2pm-4pm in honor of the Kentuckey Derby Where: Starting at TASTES-Black Star Farms in building 50 and ends at Left Foot Charley Tasting Room. Put on your crazy hats and running shoes and get ready to run for the roses at TASTES and Left Foot Charley. This is going to be a fun little joint event here in the Village of Grand Traverse Commons to benefit the Horse North Rescue in Fife Lake. In the spirit of the Kentucky Derby the wineries will be hosting this fun race between the two tasting rooms. There will be Rose wine samples and prizes awarded to race winners at both locations. There is a suggested donation of $5 for each participant with a 100% of the proceeds to benefit Horse North Rescue in Fife Lake.
