Join us in the Barrel Room with Sarah from Left Foot Charley as she leads you in a hands-on Huichol influenced beadwork class. You’ll create a handcrafted mushroom cap design using beeswax and beads. You’ll learn the intricacy of making Huichol art which can be used to make your own unique designs at home. Huichol art originates from the Huichol people who live is the states of Jalisco, Durango, Zacatecas, and Nayarit in Mexico. Their beadwork tells stories through symbols and designs. (An example is the mushroom in the picture.)
The ticket includes all necessary supplies and a glass of a select wine. Additional, wine and hard cider will be available for purchase throughout the event.
Please arrive around 12:30pm for the class to begin at 1pm. Tickets are limited. Club discounts can be applied. All participants must be 21+.
